Confessions of a Bookaholic and A Life Bound By Books are holding a Haunted Halloween Cover Contest. Participants are asked to create a cover from scratch, including title and author alias, that would represent a scary story or book from their imagination.

I decided to enter another cover creation contest. I'm an artist at heart and so I always jump at the opportunity to be creative. Also, this gave me the chance to improve my photoshop skills and experiment with new photo manipulation techniques. Funny thing is that what I found to be most challenging was coming up with a fake author name. After a lot of pondering, I finally decided to just use a variation of my first name and a rather common French surname (since part of my family originates from France).
