EYE CANDY: Snow White and the Huntsman Movie Trailer

Synopsis
In the epic action-adventure Snow White and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart plays the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen (Charlize Theron) out to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) dispatched to kill her. Sam Claflin joins the cast as the prince long enchanted by Snow White's beauty and power.

My Thoughts
Honestly, I'm not a Kristen Stewart fan. Her acting and onscreen presence has always seemed very anemic and dull to me. She's a really pretty young woman, no question about it, but as an actress she does absolutely nothing for me. However, based on the trailer, the movie looks to be visually stunning and a more epic, action-packed portrayal of the classic fairy tale, which I'm quite happy about. Plus, I'm really glad that Snow White is less of a Damsel in Distress in this adaptation than the original story. I'll be looking forward to next Summer and hitting the theater when the movie is released.

Deedles - You're welcome! Yeah, I'm excited to see it. It will definitely be a feast for the eyes...the special effects seem to have been done really well.

Like you, I don't really care for Kristen Stewart, but I have to admit that the trailer caught my attention. I probably won't pay full price to see it when it first comes out, but I might rent it later.

Natalie - I hardly ever go to the movie theater anymore because of the ridiculous prices, but once in a while when a movie comes around that seems to be really visually stunning, I'll treat myself to see it on the big screen (my home TV and computer screens are both really small). Come to think of it, I believe the last movie I saw in the theater was Inception.
